Services
Not only is Dutchess Metal Supply one of the areas largest wholesale distributors of all types of metal, we are also equipped to handle many secondary operations. These include plate and sheet shearing, cutting to length of most structurals such as pipe, tube, angle, channel, beam and bar. We are also equipped to provide plasma, laser, and waterjet cutting as well. Regional delivery service is available.

• Our plasma cutting capabalities include a 6'x12' table. It will cut Mild Steel up to 1" thick, Aluminum up to 5/8", and Stainless Steel up to 3/4". It produces superior cutting speeds and edge quality when cutting Stainless Steel. All CNC Controlled.
• For those instances where material thickness is greater than what can be sawed or sheared, our water jet machines can cut through a variety of materials in thicknesses up to 8 inches. The cutting process can be CNC controlled allowing us to cut intricate shapes with close tolerances. We have 3 water jet machines, two that have 5'x10' tables and one with a 6'x12' table.
• When your steel needs require material cut to specific sizes and tolerances, we have the means to fulfill your needs. We have a variety of band saw machines designed to cut pipe, tube, angle, channel, beam rod and more. Tell us what you need, and we'll cut it.
• If you have sheet metal needs that not only require shearing, but also the forming of bends and angles to assist you with your type of enclosure, then we can help with our press brake forming services. We can handle a variety of metals, as well as thickness and bend configurations.
• If your requirements include the need for drilling or tapping of your material, we can provide these services as well.
• Our facility located at 26 Hatfield Lane in Poughkeepsie, can shear to length plate and sheet steel in a variety of lengths, widths, and thicknesses. If your sheet and plate needs include custom cut sizes, send us your requirements for a timely response.
