Driftwood Diamond Drilling Ltd. is a mineral exploration drilling company based out of Smithers, British Columbia, with offices in Whitehorse, Yukon Territories and Zacatecas, Mexico.  Incorporated in 2004, we began operations in British Columbia with seven employees and have now successfully expanded our operations to include the Yukon Territories, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, as well as Mexico, with a team of fifty plus employees.  Driftwood Diamond Drilling provides the North American Market with Top Quality exploration drilling services while maintaining a high record of safety and environmental stewardship. Our Owner/Management team will go through every aspect of our drilling services with customers and provide the best solution for any circumstance that may arise. We specialize in Heli-Portable, Skid-Mounted, Underground and Geotech Drilling and have machines with the capability to go to depths of 1600 meters, and a support fleet of track dozers and a wide variety of skidders.  As drillers themselves, our Management team has worked in most climates and types of rock, from work in Western Canada to projects in the Andes of South America, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. Driftwood Diamond Drilling has the knowledge and experience to complete any project.  In order to keep service our top priority and show our dedication to customer service and satisfaction, Driftwood Diamond Drilling became a new member of the CDDA (Canadian Diamond Drilling Association) in 2012, as well as implementing the MiHR and DEC certification systems. Driftwood Diamond Drilling is also committed to maintaining a relationship of mutual respect with the First Nations throughout Canada as well as the Indigenous people of Mexico.  Driftwood Diamond Drilling has an extensive Occupational Health and Safety Program in place. All of our employees are required to have Occupational First Aid Level 1,  as well as in house training including a standard orientation. Employees also require pre-employment drug screening as part of Driftwood Diamond Drillings Drug and Alcohol Policy. Records are kept on all employees to help our Management team maintain a safe work force, and remain compliant with legal legislation. Shift inspections and 5-Point safety inspections are filled out daily, as well as daily toolbox meetings for each job site.
