DRA continues to expand its capabilities in North and South America to meet client needs across both continents. We have extensive capabilities in a wide range of minerals and metals as well as coal preparation, clean coal technology, energy and utility power operations and we are acknowledged as the global leader in the field of dense media separation (DMS). Met-Chem, based in French-speaking Montréal, joined the DRA group of companies in 2016 adding to our already reputable minerals processing capabilities in DRA’s Toronto office. Together with these new skills in mining and geology - with specific experience in Europe, Africa, China, India, North and South America - the team delivers success to any project.We hold a firm understanding of delivering projects in freezing temperatures synonymous with the northern territories of Canada and the peak temperatures in South America, known to reach +50°C in the summer months.  Due to our extensive cold weather engineering experience, our Americas team has delivered over 700  projects and studies in Canada, South America and the USA across a broad range of commodities, specifically in coal, gold, diamonds and lithium.Our primary North American offices are located in Toronto, Montreal and Pittsburgh,  supported by ancillary offices in Nitro and Beckley, West Virginia.
