At the end of the nineteenth century, in the midst of industrialization, the Dosio company was born, specializing in the recovery of ferrous scrap and rags in order to supply the developing industry with raw material for processing and recycling.

Handed down the business from father to son, today Dr. Marco represents the third generation. The Dosio company, based in via Mazza since 1910, subsequently dedicated itself to the recovery of various metals.

In 1924 the second office was inaugurated, in via Vittorio Emanuele 70, used as a warehouse and created to meet the needs of an expanding market. And above all to collaborate optimally with the Lombard foundries and with the Tuscan textile industries, which were the main users of the service rendered with constant commitment, since the recovery and choice of materials were carried out exclusively by hand by the Dosio company.

Over the years, the Dosio company has developed and expanded further, making it necessary to have a new, larger headquarters which since 1966 has been in viale Partigiani 22. In fact, it has combined its specialized staff with modern equipment for the selection of materials and brand new means of lifting and transport to offer better assistance to the companies served.

For the high contribution made to the country in its sector, in 1987 Mr. Dosio has received an acknowledgment from the state that rewards the professionalism and seriousness of a company that has been guaranteeing a useful and efficient service for more than ninety years.
