DORA Recycling have set ourselves the task of processing and recycling industrial waste, so we create raw materials for energy recovery and recycling. In this way we make our personal contribution to environmental protection.

At the Zülpich location, we have specialized in the processing of plaits from waste paper recycling and operate an optimally designed recycling plant here.

The so-called plaits are created in the pulper in which the bales of waste paper are deposited. The waste paper is boiled in water with the addition of chemicals. The paper fibers then dissolve and float in the liquid. The binding wires get caught with plastics, foils, textiles and non-detachable paper materials to form 6-10 m long pigtails. These are unsuitable for incineration plants and have not been allowed to be dumped since 2005. This is where we start and loosen the braids, separate the wires from the contaminants and thus guarantee professional return to the recycling cycle.
