Dolly Textile Recycling is a family run business based in Ballymany Newbridge Co. Kildare which began in January 2011.Dolly Textile Recycling is focused on recycling, fundraising through environmentally friendly means . We have over 30 years’ experience within the recycling industry and as such launched Dolly Textile Recycling to offer individuals as well as schools and business an opportunity to generate an income for themselves through recycling their unwanted clothes.
We are a fully licensed waste collection company and are registered with all county councils in the Republic of Ireland. Prior to Dolly Textile Recycling we have worked in many other areas of the recycling industry. As a business we have a passion for recycling and keeping our environment green and what better way to do that than to provide a service to the public which benefits both their pockets and our environment. As a company our primary aim is to divert waste from landfill.
Dolly Textile Recycling was established in order to facilitate any individual, group, club, church, community centre, sports clubs, GAA Club, School or organization looking to fundraise or donate money to charity. We also launched Clothing/textile banks to help raise much needed funds. Once the fundraising event is confirmed we can also offer advertising aids if needed assisting in any way possible to ensure your fundraising event is a success.
The recycling of everyday items is becoming a key a component of how the world’s limited resources will be managed in the future and with a little effort, everyone can make a contribution. Fundraising initiatives can also benefit all involved with the organisation, school or individual organising the fundraising event gaining financial rewards. The primary benefits of the program are 2-fold with people in the developing world receiving much needed clothing. In addition, the recycling of clothes benefits the environment by reducing the demand on landfill sites and reducing our carbon emissions.
