Where We Came From

After serving in WWII, Don McNeill opened Don’s Jewelers in Herrin, IL. He later added locations in Marion and Carbondale. After Don’s passing, his son Mark opened Mark McNeill Fine Jewelers in Herrin and son Steve opened Diamond Designs in Marion. Since 1996 Diamond Designs has been there for the people of Southern Illinois offering beautiful and unique styles, on-site jewelry repairs and sizing as well as custom design.

The McNeill family is still going strong and is now in its third generation. Elizabeth, Molly and Patrick McNeill are keeping the same traditions and service that you’ve enjoyed since the 1940’s. Here you will find something different. From the friendly, down to Earth staff to the on-site repair shop and truly different styles, you will get a comfortable feeling from the minute you walk in the door.
