As a family owned and operated business, Diamond Boutique has served the San Diego community for nearly 30 years. As members of the American Gem Society™, Diamond Boutique is amongst the nation’s top 5% of all jewelers, designers, and appraisers. Members of AGS are held to the highest code of ethics and are dedicated to consumer protection with our superior gemological skills and knowledge.

Diamond Boutique was established in 1984 through the determination and perseverance of Nasser and Mali Digius. In October of 2007, we completed construction on our brand new location in the coastal community of Del Mar, California. Our goal was, and still is, to provide the San Diego community with exquisite custom-designed jewelry accompanied with unparalleled customer service. We strive for this ideal on a daily basis and believe it is the primary reason why Diamond Boutique has such a loyal, dedicated client base. We hope to continue this tradition online with our e-Commerce website. The faithfulness and trust of our customers is due to three (3) core elements that drive our business: customer service, education and professional integrity.

Throughout Diamond Boutique’s history, our presence and participation in local philanthropic organizations has increased exponentially each year. What is the American Gem Society™?

The American Gem Society™ (AGS) was established by early pioneers in the jewelry industry over 70 years ago. The American Gem Society is a not-for-profit trade association of fine jewelers, designers and appraisers in North America. AGS members are dedicated to consumer protection, ethical business practices, and the development of superior gemological skills and knowledge.

Today the American Gem Society™ is comprised of nearly 3,500 jewelers, retailers, suppliers, individual titleholders: Registered Jewelers, Certified Gemologists®, and Certified Gemologist Appraisers, and Independent Certified Appraisers – the elite of the jewelry industry.

The Most Knowledgeable Professionals in the Industry

In order to become a member of the American Gem Society™, Diamond Boutique first had to meet the following stringent criteria:

American Gem Society™ members must:

• Have an exceptionally high level of gemological knowledge. This includes successfully completing prescribed courses and classes in diamonds and colored gemstones
• Posses a reputation for unquestioned integrity and must conduct business to enhance the confidence of the public.
• Demonstrate sincere interest in ethical business practices and exemplify this belief.
• Be a retail jewelry or independent appraisal business that has been established for at least two years with demonstrated financial stability.
• Certify all titleholders each year.
