Dempsey’s Jewelers has served upper East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia for over thirty years. This business started in 1976 as a Repair & Fabrication Center for area Jewelry Stores. Wanting to serve the public, Dempsey and his wife opened the retail store in April of 1993 on Knob Creek Road in Johnson City. Working on the bench as a Master Goldsmith, Master Stone Setter and Caster of fine jewelry, Dempsey and his family have grown from just two employees to a staff of twelve. Now located on Peoples Street in North Johnson City their new location has over 2000 sq./ft and state of the art equipment in both the shop and in the showroom. Unmatched service coupled with a friendly staff, goldsmithing and designing are the elements that truly gleam from this family owned business.

First to bring true custom jewelry to Johnson City, First to incorporate laser technology, First to implement CAD CAM designing, First to employ CNC milling of waxes, First to serve the area with 3D printing of models for casting, First to have four Goldsmiths working in one store…..and on we can go.
