Demonaval Recycling, created in 2017, is located on the banks of the Seine du Trait, between Paris and Le Havre.

We have rehabilitated the old Trait shipyard and its holds to give life to a ship dismantling activity.

Our company is a Classified Installation for the Protection of the Environment (ICPE) by the Prefectural Decree dated December 5, 2016 which mainly ensures:

• the treatment and recovery of waste following the dismantling of ships

• industrial demolition (dismantling, deconstruction, pollution control and asbestos removal) on and off site.

Our facilities

Demonaval Recycling occupies an area of ​​more than 7000m2 and has two concrete ramps.

We created a watertight slab on retention of 1400M2, equipped with oil separators and a particulate settling tank.

These devices filter polluted water for clean water discharge into the Seine.

Our paved area is also equipped with a covered cleaning station for washing metal parts that need to be washed before recycling.

Double-walled tanks are present on the site and allow the storage of hydrocarbons and slops.

Bungalows constitute the base of life with a refectory, as well as changing rooms with showers.

A pulling winch gives us the possibility of mounting the boats on the holds.

However, as the slipways have direct access to the Seine, the tidal phenomenon will also be used to mount the boats on the holds.

Bins are intended for the recovery of solid waste as well as the sorting of metals.

A 120m3 fire reserve serves the site.
