In 1955 Decorative Iron Works was established by Joseph Monga Sr. in Little Ferry, New Jersey. Decorative Iron Works is a family owned business which is into its third generation. We specialize in custom architectural metal fabrication and light structural iron work including metal rails for steps. The company is currently run by Joseph Monga and is now joined by his son Brian. Carolyn, Joseph’s wife, takes care of the book keeping. Our business has grown since the early days. Most of the metal fabrication takes place in the Passaic County, Paterson plant where we can produce large pieces such as exterior steel stairs. We have a warehouse in the original location in Bergen County, Little Ferry where we temporarily store railings that are ready for installation. We maintain an office in Morris County, Rockaway. And a welding/installing truck is kept busy in the field. We take great pride in fabricating custom wrought iron railings in New Jersey and metal work for homes, businesses, and new construction. For a comprehensive list of our metal fabrication services refer to services. Decorative Iron Works has since established a reputation for high quality craftsmanship and personal customer service at a fair price. Our company has projects located on high profile sites such as the Statue of Liberty and Grand Central Station, yet the majority of our railings and staircases are fabricated for private homes throughout northern New Jersey and the greater New York City area.
