The David Hirschberg Company was established in 1913, when steel and scrap metals were transported by horse-drawn buggy. Founded by brothers David & Lester Hirschberg, the company remained a family business until Irvin, son of David Hirschberg passed in 2009. The company was transferred to long time business partners of the family, James Rolman & Jon Graham and with the passing of James Rolman now belongs to Jon Graham.
The company originally operated as a retailer and recycler of iron, scrap, paper products, and rubber. To accommodate the changing needs of the industry, The David Hirschberg Company in addition to being one of the top Metal Recycling centers in Cincinnati has become a leading steel service center and provider of industrial surplus.
