Hello! I am Daniel and I just like to give you a little bit of background to tell you how I came to form my Property Clearance business. Then I will go on to tell you a bit more about what we do and how we do it. And why!

Back in 1998, my parents had the unfortunate task of having to have my Grandma’s house cleared and sold.

They found a clearance company from the Yellow Pages and a man came along in a lorry and took most of the furniture and other things of any value and charged quite a lot.

When they had a look around the house afterwards there was still a lot of stuff there: all the carpets, curtains, small items of furniture and general bric-a-brac. Nothing of any value – the first clearance man had taken all that - but they then had to find another clearance company and get them to remove the rest. More expense.

I started my own Property Clearance business around 2009 in quite a small way and have grown very significantly since. I now have two large vans and two employees.

My interest in house clearance started the previous year when my late grandmother’s house in Preston needed clearing ready for sale and my parents had to call in three traders to do the job! The first just took everything he wanted and left the rest; the second took everything else but still left it in a mess so the last trade had to be a cleaner. I saw a great need for a company that would do the whole job properly the first time.

I think the reason I have been successful is my attention to detail and insistence that the work is undertaken thoroughly and with great consideration for the property owners, who can often be in difficult circumstances. I also expect no payment until my customers are fully satisfied with the work, they have entrusted to me and, if there is ever any question that something was not done as expected, then it is put right immediately with no fuss and without any extra charge.
