D.A. Vento Refuse Company, Wilton's oldest family owned and operated refuse and recycling company, is based on a simple premise. Provide old-fashion and dependable yet unobtrusive residential refuse collection service in Wilton, Connecticut at a fair price while embracing changing technologies that can have a positive impact on providing superior customer service and the environment. Since then, those guiding principles have allowed us to grow our business expanding into other residential markets including New Canaan and Westport, Connecticut and offering commercial services throughout Fairfield County while many others have come and gone.

We pride ourselves on being a “Green Team” that promotes recycling to our customers. Our fleet offers the latest technology in refuse and recycling trucks, to be keenly aware of our environmental impact. We make sure our vehicles are “clean idle certified”. That translates into higher fuel efficiency while reducing emissions which can be problematic with a piece of heavy equipment which must idle in your driveway or at stop lights. Our split bodies vehicles allow us to accommodate higher volumes of single-stream recycling, reducing the solid waste stream.
