CYGNUS Founder and President, Scott Borland, has more than 20 years of consulting experience working with start-ups, Fortune 500 firms, foundations and associations in both the United States and Canada. He has also held several senior leadership and executive positions offering significant experience in both operating and advisory roles.  With a particular focus on strategic facilitation and executive feedback, Scott is a recognized expert in helping leaders achieve the clarity, focus and commitment they need to successfully move forward and achieve the results they desire.  Scott’s varied experience – both inside and outside the corporate walls, and at all levels – together with what clients have described as “superb facilitation skills” and “a straightforward, open and honest style,” allow him to have a significant and lasting impact in the organizations with which he works.  He holds the Certified Management Consultant and Certified Human Resource Professional designations, is a qualified executive coach, and an active member of the Human Resources Management Association and the Canadian Association of Management Consultants. Scott has a master’s degree in Education from the University of British Columbia and a bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Toronto.
