It was in 2013 in Lyon that the Cy-Clope project was born. The idea comes from a simple observation: 137,000 cigarette butts are thrown to the ground every second in the world. What to do with this extremely polluting waste?

The primary objective of Cy-Clope is and always has been to make the greatest number of people aware of the environmental impact of cigarette butt waste.

The co-founders, Antoine Di Tommaso and Thibault Legrand, wanted to develop a solution aimed at reducing the number of cigarette butts thrown on the ground. Throwing a cigarette butt in specific furniture makes it easy to collect it and enhance it while respecting regulatory standards. This involves establishing a voluntary contribution process.

It is therefore on these bases that in 2015 the company Cy-Clope was created. Today, Cy-Clope is a French company specializing in the management of smoking areas. Our solution is in place at more than 1,000 sites.

We offer a turnkey service which includes the installation of furniture, the collection and recycling of cigarette butts in a short circuit.
