It all started with a modest coal trade in Geetbets, run by Jules Croes. Son Marcel took over and expanded the business in the 1950s and 1960s by supplying straw, plant potatoes and fertilizers. Due to the purchase of heavy equipment, the focus gradually shifted to earthworks. ​

The Croes family name built up a strong reputation over the decades and became a household name throughout Geetbets and far beyond . ​

The Croes company in its current form saw the light of day in 1977 . Even today, our family business is still in the hands of fathers and children. The great growth for Croes came during the turn of the millennium. ​

Our company further specialized in earthworks and demolition works and expanded further into other services, such as soil stabilization , infrastructure works and milling works . Many small and large contractors called on Croes for the most diverse assignments. ​

Recycling company Recom was founded in 2000 , where crushing installations break, screen and reuse rubble from demolition works and wood chippers process wood waste. Our own concrete plants process granulates into high-quality concrete products. ​
