After 30 years of providing lighting designers with custom fabricated color filters, Special FX Lighting branched out to add a variety of related custom fabricated products to our offerings; powder coating, metal fabrication, and media blasting. We have rebranded our business as FX Industries with each division able to stand alone or to work in conjunction with the others to manufacture custom metal products.

Our light and custom metal products are manufactured to the highest standards. Our products are created in-house and we are constantly improving our own processes. We provide manufacturers, distributors, and designers with what is required for award-winning installations; expert quality, affordability, on-time product delivery, and outstanding customer service.

Our customer service ensures that our customers have full transparency into their order. Though we deal with large and exacting orders, we have maintained the personal interaction you get with a small business.

We are a custom just-in-time (JIT) manufacturer, we save clients money by keeping our manufacturing costs low. We provide a custom price quote based on the individual project.

Special FX Lighting was founded in 1984 by the creative vision of Robin DuCrest, along with selected others who assisted with sales (Bill Lewis), coating development (Tia Sarsozo), business advice (Leon Lewis), marketing (Dann Hall), and Beth Lock, who did everything else. Beth has worked in the business after all of these years and currently runs the company today. Our second generation management includes General Manager Wil DuCrest, who grew up with the company and officially went to full-time employment in 2007, and James Lee, who has been with Special FX for 18 years in various capacities and now holds the title of coatings manager and lead designer. It is with this new vision and leadership that we are proud to continue our specialty manufacturing traditions with FX Industries.
