Cravens & Lewis Jewelers is a family owned and operated jewelry store in Georgetown, Kentucky. Owen Cravens and Eddie Greenup started this business back in 1950 as a watch repair shop known as Greenup and Cravens. In 1961 Owen became the sole owner and it became Cravens Jewelry. Owen ran the business until his death in 1970. His daughter, Jean and her husband continued with the business and in 1981 added the name Lewis. Cravens & Lewis Jewelers has had three homes in Georgetown, the first in the Old Lancaster Hotel, on South Broadway and then our current location at 136 East Main Street. We have been at our current location since 1960. In 1987 we did a little remodeling and knocked some holes in the wall to double our showroom space. By 2005 it needed a little sprucing up and we did a little painting, got some new lights and did some rearranging. Times have changed a lot since 1950 and so have we. When Owen and Eddie started this business, they were primarily a watch repair shop with a little jewelry to sale. Jewelry has now become the major portion of our business with only simple watch repair and exchanging batteries being done in house. We also have onsite jewelry repair done by John Lewis. We take your old, broken or items you don’t wear anymore and we can redesign them into a wearable piece that you will love. Cravens & Lewis Jewelers features a large showroom that displays the latest designs in quality gold, silver, diamond, and colored gemstone jewelry. We also carry giftware for all your gift giving occasions. You can find crystal, Seth Thomas clocks, Cherished Teddies, Precious Moments, baby gifts and jewelry. Diamonds : Cravens & Lewis Jewelers carries an extensive inventory of loose diamonds that can be mounted in a variety of jewelry styles of your choosing. In mounted diamonds we have solitaire engagement rings, three stone anniversary rings, right hand rings, anniversary band for men and women, pendants in single stones to the Journey pendants, diamond stud and hoop earrings, diamond bracelets. Mens and ladies clusters in varying styles.

Colored Gemstones : At Cravens & Lewis Jewelers you will find pendant, earrings, rings and bracelets in all colors of the rainbow. The red of garnet and ruby. The pink of tourmaline and sapphire. Wedding Gifts/Accessories : Select from our silver plated pictures frames and albums, crystal and Seth Thomas clocks. We also have a limited selection of cake knives, and champagne flutes.

Watches : Cravens & Lewis Jewelers carries their own private label watch, this is a fine Swiss Quartz movement with a three year warranty and we will replace the battery free of charge. We carry Fossil watches, they are warranted by the factory.

Jewelry Restuyling : Cravens & Lewis Jewelers can help you restyle your old jewelry into a new piece that you will enjoy and be proud to wear. We also allow trade-ins of old gold toward your new piece.

Restringing Beads & Pearls : Bring them into Cravens & Lewis Jewelers and we will gladly check them and restring them if necessary.

Appraisal : Cravens & Lewis Jewelers does written appraisals for insurance replacement purposes.

Engraving : We can engrave on brass, aluminum, stainless steel, pewter, silver, gold, glass and acrylic items. We have engraved such items as a hubcap, a military sword, a fishing lure, and a trowel to name a few of the odd things that we have engraved with our computerized engraver.
