Since 1983 Tamec Services (our foundation company) now Conveyor Innovations International began as a broad based engineering services company to the mining industry.In August 2013 in conjunction with the Mining Exhibition AIMEX in Sydney, the company has rebranded to Conveyor Innovations International.In response to requests for specialised conveyor optimisation solutions the company is working with major mining companies in coal (above and underground), metalliferous mining and ports.These technologies have generated improved productivity and cost efficiencies, safety and energy savings.The company has been recognised by awards for these technologies.The company has now focussed its efforts on bringing these innovative conveyor technologies to the mining industry and other bulk materials handling industries.In 2012 the company secured a substantial grant from Commercialisation Australia, to build the first high volume idler roll plant in Australia. This plant will be commissioned in Q3 2013.The company has an existing production facility based in the Bowen Basin in Queenalsnd for their OneFits Conveyor Idler Roll. All Idler Assembles are manufactured in stainless steel ex China for delivery flat packed ready for installation.Providing innovative products for conveyor systems. The DunnEasy Idler Assembly replaces fixed structures with a movable structure which enables quick and safe change out of rolls, from one side of the conveyor without lifting the conveyor belt. There are significant benefits for new conveyor construction including a 20% saving in structural costs, the need for only one walkway and access road, and the assembly absorbs vibration from excess loads. For new construction there are gains in efficient use of capital, performance and a quantum gain in safety. Roll change with the option of not stopping the conveyor is also possible, as the assembly drops down, and rolls slide out to one side of the conveyor. The assembly has also enabled the change out of 24 rolls in 51 minutes, a record! The DunnEasy Idler Assembly won the ABC New Inventors in July 2011.Commercialisation Australia have announcedd a grant for the development of a new production process to produce an innovative conveyor roll technology Tamec Services have been awarded a grant of $914,000 for early stage commercialisation of this new conveyor idler roll and new production technology. The OneFits Roll is a new conveyor roll technology which significantly reduces the operational.The largest mining exhibition in the world and held only once every 4 years. At the expo the company established contacts with the key conveyor manufacturers in the US markets and also touched base with companies in Chile, Mexico and Canada. CII participated in the Queensland Trade and Investment trade mission. Apart from attending the MINexpo meetings were arranged with major mining companies.To ensure that mines have the opportunity to fully trial the OneFits Idler Rolls we are offering a limited number of roll trials to selected sites in Australia and internationally. 30 black steel 6 or 7 inch rolls may be made available for trials A limited number of FREE black steel rolls are available for trials to selected sites.
