Created in 1985, CONTAR, SA is a pioneering company in Andorra in the waste sector. CONTAR is dedicated to the collection, selection, transport and export of waste from construction, industry, commerce and public and private bodies.

CONTAR's activity takes place in the sorting and handling plant where the different types of waste from containers or brought to the plant by customers are separated. The mixture of materials collected in the containers has no use or value in the conditions of collection. It is necessary to carry out the valorization process which consists of separating each fraction of material. Subsequently, the various products are sent to recycling centers.
