Established in 1978, Connaught Timber is a leading manufacturer of pallets and high quality wood products. As one of the largest manufacturer of wooden pallets in the West of Ireland and delivering nationwide, Connaught Timber saw a need for wood recycling and were one of the first companies to receive a permit to recycle timber pallets and waste timber.

Today the company services 80% of the country with regular collection of used timber such as pallets and crates from all sectors of industry. All the wood is recycled. Some wood pallets are suitable for repair and sold as reconditioned pallets, the rest is prepared for use in the wood chipping plant where animal bedding, playground surfacing and NuLife Mulch are produced.

This is possible as all our products - pallets, timber gates, timber fencing, garden furniture, garden sheds, decking, mulch, animal bedding and playground surfacing are manufactured on site at our facility in Co Galway.
