Community Recycling Initiative is the first and only NOT-FOR-PROFIT used clothing collector based in Northern Ireland.
The company commenced trading March 2005 after an extensive two year training programme administered by Invest Northern Ireland. Our Board of Directors work on a voluntary basis bring a wide range of skills and expertise to the company. We have also obtained charitable status.
What happens to the clothes we collect?
All the clothing Collected by CRI is exported from Ireland. After extensive research we have developed strong business partnerships with several companies based in Eastern Europe.
All our clothing sent here where it is processed and sold in second and clothing shops. Creating mini enterprises in these developing areas.

As an endorsement of the company CRI Northern Ireland has received funding from three main sources.

• Invest Northern Ireland (Community Business Program)
