The company Komunala Kranj has a rich history and was founded with the aim of ensuring the long-term and permanent provision of mandatory economic public services, such as the supply of drinking water and the management of waste water and waste. The founders of the company are the Municipality of Kranj and the municipalities of Šenčur, Cerklje na Gorenjska, Medvode, Naklo, Preddvor and Jezersko.

We have a clear vision, we are aware of our mission and we know the way to achieve it. We are also aware of the importance of the impact of our operations on the environment. 

 The headquarters of the company is at Ulica Mirka Vadnova 1 in Kranj. In the Zarica service facility at Savski loki 33, there are SE Vodovod (DE Water supply network and DE Water pumping and distribution), a warehouse and unit for maintenance of vehicles and facilities, the work unit SE Waste (DE Waste collection) and the work unit SE City services - DE Road maintenance. The Kranj central sewage treatment plant is at Savska loki 31, where SE Odpade vode is located. The funeral service has its premises at the Kranj City Cemetery, Cesta Talcev 92, Kranj.

The basic activities of our company are the implementation of commercial public services:

drinking water supply in the Municipality of Kranj and the municipalities of Šenčur, Cerklje na Gorenjska, Medvode, Naklo, Preddvor, Jezersko;

drainage and treatment of waste water in the Municipality of Kranj and the municipalities of Šenčur, Cerklje na Gorenjska, Naklo, Preddvor, Jezersko;

waste management in the Municipality of Kranj and the municipalities of Šenčur, Naklo, Preddvor, Jezersko.

In the area of ​​the Municipality of Kranj, in addition to the listed activities, we also provide optional economic public services:

maintenance of municipal roads,

public power and cleaning of public areas,

funeral and cemetery activities,

management of the city market,

management of public parking lots,

removal of vehicles.
