COMBATT SA "Integrated Collective Alternative Management of Accumulators of Pan-Hellenic Scope" is a non-profit company and is a Collective Alternative Management System of Accumulators for Vehicles and Industry for the entire Greek Territory. The approval of the Collective System by the Hellenic Recycling Organization (Decision No.: 169.3 / 12.06.2020) has been posted on the Diavgeia website with ΑΔΑ: 67ΓΜ46Ψ8ΟΖ-ΜΓΣ.
The purpose of COMBATT SA is the alternative management of waste batteries for vehicles and industry as well as the achievement of national targets as they are defined by European and Greek Legislation.
In particular, COMBATT SA aims to:
To organize a network of partnerships with licensed collectors and recyclers of batteries
To develop procedures for the implementation of alternative battery management in the best environmentally friendly way
In the recording and supervision of quantitative data collection and recycling at the national level
To inform and raise the awareness of all stakeholders for the proper management of waste batteries and consequently to increase the rate of proper collection and recycling.
The cooperation with COMBATT SA ensures the companies that produce, import and resell batteries of vehicles and industry their exemption from the fulfillment of their obligations regarding the alternative management of the batteries waste imposed by Law 2939/2001 and JM 41624/2057 / Ε103 / 2010.
