Herb Paynter founded Colony Construction & Home Improvements, Inc. in 1995 with a vision: To Provide Quality Craftsmanship at Competitive Prices. Herb is seasoned with twenty years of experience in construction. You can see some of his craftsmanship throughout Ford's Colony, Kingsmill, and Governors Landing. Herb values education and keeps up with manufacturer certifications as well as, staying informed about new products on the market ensuring Colony uses quality materials for construction projects.

Tina Paynter

Tina Paynter graduated from Christopher Newport University in Virginia with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Financial Management. Her education has impacted the business growth. Tina says customer service is the key driver to our success. Tina concentrates on the relationship with the client while my husband stays focused on the quality and scope of the project management. We make a great team!
