Chicago U-Pic-A-Part, which opened on October 15, 2016, brings a whole new concept of parts-buying to the Chicago area. We are a self -service used auto parts yard, so you, the customer, actually pull the part. By doing so, you can purchase the desired part at a significant savings.

The Heckenast family, which built Chicago U-Pic-A-Part, originated in the salvage business in the burbs of Chicago in 1975. After owning and operating the business for many years, the family opted to sell to LKQ Corporation in 2005. They then relocated to Indianapolis and Phoenix to start up two new facilities, which they subsequently sold to David Joseph Company in 2012.

As mentioned before, Chicago U-Pic-A-Part is family owned and operated and our friendly sales staff is bilingual. Our family has been in the salvage industry for over 40 years. Chicago U-Pic-A-Part has over 2,000 used Cars, Trucks, and Vans to choose from and we rotate our vehicles every day to ensure fresh inventory.
