Chappells Junkyard history in the scrap yard and vehicle recycling industry stretches all the way back to 1929 when the grandfather of current CEO Martin Chappel began a small scrap metal and vehicle recycling business in Canandaigua, NY. For almost 90 years our mission has been to deliver fast and friendly service to our community while providing an outlet for junk vehicle disposal. During the mid-1950s, the company was expanded into the Finger Lakes and Central New York region and was inherited by the current CEO in 1993.

Since 1993, Chappells Junkyard has grown throughout New York State including Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Canandaguia, and The Finger Lakes.
