The Canadian Environmental Technology Advancement Corporation- WEST (CETAC-WEST) is a private sector, not-for-profit corporation committed to helping small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) engaged in the development and commercialization of new environmental technologies.

Established in 1994 by Environment Canada, we dedicate our services to SMEs in the four western provinces through our office in Calgary. Beneficial linkages have been formed between technology producers, industry experts, and investment sources to facilitate this process.

Since our establishment over fifteen years ago, we have reviewed over 500 project opportunities throughout Western Canada, keeping our philosophy in mind:

CETAC-WEST’s clients are small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) working to commercialize new environmental and “clean” technologies. Our mission is to facilitate the development of business skills and know-how in small businesses so that entrepreneurs can achieve long-term success.

The business model and supporting process of CETAC-WEST is rooted in the philosophy of building capacity for innovation and technology commercialization. This is accomplished as a result of networking small businesses with the object of sharing practical wisdom through the disciplined application of business strategies and management tools.
