COMPANY OVERVIEW
Family owned and operated since 1974, Certified Document Destruction & Recycling (CDDR) has grown to become a leading provider of document destruction and computer/electronics recycling services in Central and Western New York.
CDDR’s Rochester, NY headquarters is a high-security facility that houses a full range of state-of-the-art equipment for document shredding and bailing, plastic media destruction, and computer and office electronics recycling. We employ 20 people and operate a fleet of fully enclosed, radio-dispatched trucks equipped with the latest security and safety features.
We serve companies and organizations of all sizes and are proud of the longstanding relationships we’ve established with customers in manufacturing, healthcare, government, education, non-profit, the legal and financial sectors, retail, and many other areas.
Document & Data Destruction:
Information can be one of your greatest assets. But in the wrong hands, it can quickly become an enormous liability - ethically, legally, and financially.
That's why you need to dispose of your paper documents, computer media, and other sensitive materials with utmost care. In a way that ensures security, privacy, and compliance with stringent government regulations.
We're here to help. With document destruction services that can be tailored to your exact requirements and budget. Solutions that provide levels of protection, economy and ease that can't be matched by in-house shredding or document storage companies.
Computer & Office Electronics Recycling:
Out-of-service computers and electronics represent one of the planet’s fastest-growing waste streams.
Tens of millions of computers alone become obsolete in the United States, every year. And fewer than 10 percent are recycled. Because discarded electronics contain lead, mercury, cadmium, flame retardant plastics and other materials, they pose serious health and environmental threats.
In New York State, scrap computers are classified as hazardous waste for businesses and organizations, and owners are required by law to dispose of them as hazardous waste unless they are recycled through a recycling company registered with the state Department of Environmental Conservation.
What you may not know is that your business or organization remains liable – and subject to stiff penalties – for computers and electronics that are not properly disposed of or recycled.
Certified Document Destruction & Recycling (CDDR), offers convenient, economical, and environmentally responsible services for recycling your obsolete computers and office electronics.
