Since 1997, more than 4,500 waste disposal plants have been built for households in Denmark with the Center for Recirculation as an adviser! In addition, there are a large number of facilities abroad. Of the 4,500, there are also a number of communal facilities for smaller urban communities of between 2 and 90 households, and at the time of writing work is being done on a communal facility for up to 120 households. If you choose a pile cleaning system designed and dimensioned by the Center for Recycling, you get a unique system that is tailored to the specific situation of the property. In each individual case, the Center for Recycling prepares a detailed report that carefully describes how the plant must be carried out. In this way, both time and money are saved.
As something new, and completely in line with our desire for all water to be part of a cycle, we are now also working with products that make it possible to clean and recycle rainwater and gray waste water. Our products clean water right up to drinking water quality. More information about this will come soon.
Although our willow treatment plants are well documented and well established in the Danish market, we have not sat back, but are constantly working to improve and further develop waste water treatment using willow trees. In the autumn of 2018, the Department of Bioscience at Aarhus University, in collaboration with the Center for Recirculation, completed a mid-term evaluation for willow plants with sludge allocation - with very promising results.
In addition to sewage treatment plants, we also work with plants for the evaporation and recovery of nutrients from surface and process water containing nutrients from agriculture and industry. It can, for example, be fortified areas in front of mobile silos with silage or process water from a company. The largest total plant we have designed is more than 30 ha for residual water from a potato flour factory. we have also created plants for phytoremediation of metals from water from recycling companies.
Center for Recycling advises on:
Piler treatment plant for domestic waste water from individual houses and communal plants for small and large villages
Planted filter systems
Willow vegetation filters for evaporation of, among other things, surface and process water , as well as recirculation of nutrients.
Recirculating plant for both sludge and nutrients in the waste water
