Founded in the early 1990’s by Carl and Kristen Cavossa, The Cavossa Companies is a collection of related, but individually managed companies.  We are locally owned and operated and pride ourselves on our dedication and service to our local community.

The two primary entities of The Cavossa Companies are: Carl F. Cavossa, Jr., Excavating, Inc. and Cavossa Disposal Corporation.  Through these two companies we offer commercial and residential services ranging from excavating site work, septic system installation and repair, water line service, foundation digging, commercial snow removal, trash removal, and solid waste & recycling collection.  We also offer a wide variety of landscape materials.

The journey began in the early 1990’s with the creation of Carl F. Cavossa, Jr., Excavating, Inc.  From the start, Carl has instituted a customer first mentality.  Attention to service and customer satisfaction was of paramount concern as Cavossa Excavating experienced considerable growth through the late 1990’s and early 2000’s housing boom.

It was in 2002 that Carl expanded into the construction roll-off container business with Cavossa Disposal Corporation.  Though primarily designed to service his existing excavation company, Carl soon opened this roll-off business to local construction contractors and homeowners.  With steady growth and a reputation as an honest and honorable business owner, Carl bought his first front load commercial refuse truck in 2006 and expanded the company’s waste collection services to included commercial trash collection. As a result of this vision and with the support of the local business community, Cavossa Disposal Corporation has become the largest commercial recycling and solid waste collection company based on Cape Cod.  With a large fleet of modern and well maintained trucks, a strong inventory of containers, and a team of dedicated and courteous drivers, Cavossa Disposal will meet and exceed all of your expectations. On a daily basis, through our diligent service efforts and customer first mentality we strive to earn your respect and future business.

Carl and Kristen Cavossa are very active in their local community, as evidenced through personal service as the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce President (2004-2006), local charity Board of Director service, financial donation, or grass roots hands on charity work.  Through the support of Cape Cod charities and organizations, The Cavossa Companies strongly believe in giving back to the local community.  After all, community service not only creates a well earned personal satisfaction, it also creates a better environment for all local families to raise their children.
