At Cavert Wire Company, we know that the quality we build into our products can save our customers time and money. Our commitment to the highest manufacturing standards, together with our competitive pricing have made us the largest manufacturer of baling wire in the United States. Our reputation for reliability also reflects outstanding customer service and the ability to meet timing needs. Cavert’s network of company owned facilities provides distribution coverage from East Coast to West Coast with a consistently robust availability of products. As we seek ways to serve our customers, Cavert continues to expand products and services and works with equipment manufacturers on innovations to save time and money.
Cavert stands alone in its efforts to offer top-quality products. The result is a level of consistency that our competitors are unlikely to match. As opposed to many other wire manufacturers, Cavert does not purchase premanufactured wire to be resold. Cavert controls the wire-making process from start to finish by starting with wire rod that is used for our own products.
Cavert is America’s only baling wire manufacturer that uses strand annealing. This heat treating process has been proven to provide a tensile strength consistency that simply cannot be matched by other annealing methods. Don’t be fooled by our smaller competitor’s claim that strand annealing equates to partial annealing. Strand annealing equates to superior baling wire.
Whether it’s more consistent tensile strength in our baling wire, our unmatched technical assistance or our short lead times, our customers benefit from our dominant position in the baling wire industry.
History
American Made Since 1910
When John Cavert founded the company in 1910, his focus was to manufacture single loop bale ties for baling straw in the agricultural industry. Since that humble beginning, Cavert Wire Company has been manufacturing top-quality wire for baling applications, including becoming the largest manufacturer of black annealed baling wire.
Cavert's innovations have led to manufacturing processes that have become today’s industry standards and the company continues to seek cost and time saving solutions as we move into the future.
Today, Cavert continues to work with baling machine manufacturers to meet their product specifications and to improve the baling process.
Our success in the past and continued commitment to the baling wire industry has provided us with the resources and determination to maintain a level of efficiency that will continue to serve our customers for years to come.
