Casco & Sons is a full service steel fabrication shop serving the greater Detroit area. Beginning as a sole proprietorship over 20 years ago in Farmington Hills, Casco has grown into a corporation that accomodates bigger projects and faster turnarounds while maintaining good quality and personal service.Casco has experience in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, specializing in metal fabrication, structural steel, and mobile welding.
Casco maintains strong productivity with a motivated company and a positive work ethic.On a cold evening in January 2011, on the heels of the Great Recession, a corner of the warehouse caught fire. The flames grew and neighbors sounded the alarm. First responders arrived quickly but the fire spread faster. They worked to contain the blaze but in the night sky, it could be seen from blocks away. When the smoke cleared the next morning, a blackened shell stood where the original shop once was.Starting out in 1992 as Casco Industrial Services, the company began operations as small mobile welding shop outside of Detroit. The services grew to meet the needs of customers, and with it came the reputation for using well-thought solutions to messy problems. Casco came to accomodate structural steel projects and eventually pioneered local, fully welded spiral staircases along with other custom metal work.After the fire destroyed the main office and equipment in the shop, Casco faced the uphill battle of rebuilding or risk shutting down. However, the road to recovery became a catalyst for better business and expansion. Today, the company has since grown to do business in the greater Detroit area, across the state, and outside of Michigan.Casco & Sons continues to invest in its people, equipment, and warehouses to successfully offer customers the most value for the best possible result.

Services

As a company, Casco & Sons handles miscellaneous commercial and decorative interior metals, structural steel work, and mobile welding. We are fully capable to do blue-print take-offs, shop drawings, and custom finishing with our in-house paint booth. Located by I-96 in Livonia, our service area extends to projects in metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, and north Oakland.
