In 1831 a paper mill equipped with the first endless machine for the production of paper was established in Piedmont in Giaveno by the brothers Giambattista and Camillo Franco .The paper company, sold in 1886 to the Tarizzo family, was taken over in 1915 by Rodolfo Reguzzoni from Busto Arsizio, who had a new factory built on the same site and founded the "Cartiere Rodolfo Reguzzoni & C. Giaveno" on 16 March 1926. In 1948 Rodolfo Reguzzoni was succeeded by his daughter Wanda, who, with the precious collaboration of her husband Aldo Perazzini, who died prematurely in 1967, expanded and completely restructured the plant in the 1960s and 1970s. children in the management of the company.
