Who we are

Cartiera San Martino operates in the paper sector for the production of coupled cardboard of different thicknesses, both gray and colored, of cardboard of various weights, using waste and recovery paper as raw material. The industrial complex consists of several buildings inside which are allocated two continuous machines, a coupling machine, storage warehouses, raw materials and finished products, office building, yards for loading and unloading goods, parking lots and a green area. In addition to the buildings and related infrastructures, the industrial complex includes equipment and systems necessary for the proper functioning of the various services.

The constant monitoring of the production processes and the efficiency of the purification plants guarantee to optimize the quality of the product, the maximum safety during the various processing phases and the minimum environmental impact.

The company today

The company currently employs 54 people including managers, employees, technicians and workers. The reference market in which the company operates is national and international, counting among its customers box factories, bookbinders, paper manufacturers and wholesalers.

History

Cartiera San Martino SpA was founded by the Cerrone family around 1890 along the bank of the Fibreno river in San Martino, Broccostella, in the heart of the Liri Valley.

For the future, our company is committed to researching and making new investments and innovations on machinery in order to meet customer needs. The production of energy takes place in the plant through a cogeneration plant in operation since 2008 for the combined production of electrical and thermal energy.
