The Carrefour Environnement Saguenay is an organization specializing in the responsible management of residual materials. It applies to the protection of the environment through the management, recovery and transformation of materials with respect for sustainable development.

Founded in 1998, the company employs between 50 and 75 employees, depending on the cycles of the sector of activity, through its three development components which are recycling, IT and cabinetmaking.

Having become a leader in sustainable development in Quebec, the Carrefour now handles the treatment and recycling of a large part of the electronic and computer equipment recovered in the province each year.

Due to the remarkable performance of his team, 96% of the material is currently returning to reusable products for more than 80 different material categories.
