After 20 years of working in sales and operations for several other janitorial firms, founder Marlene Dalton realized that a better way was possible.

Marlene left the company she’d worked at for years, disillusioned with how certain things were run and wondering if she could create something better.

She created CST in 1995 to do just that.

As her son Kevin was finishing business school he helped get things off the ground, and a small operation with a handful of people soon grew into a business the whole family manages.

For over 25 years Carolina Services of the Triad, Inc. has provided a variety of janitorial services to numerous businesses in the Southeast. The goal has always been to create a lasting impression that your business is healthy, responsible and concerned with not only your customers but your employees.

Thanks to Marlene’s commitment to positive change, respecting ethics and doing the job right the first time, Carolina Services has grown into one of the largest janitorial firms in the region.

CST is the only Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) certified commercial janitorial services firm in North Carolina, and that gives you the assurance that you are providing for your local economy and demonstrating your desire to partner with the right people, for the right job at the right time (and at the right price).
