Carl Smith is the founder and Owner Operator of Carl's Sanitation Inc. in Maud, Oklahoma. In May 2000, he launched CSI Inc, a waste management company for individuals in rural Oklahoma who were looking for Big City Service without the hassles associated with large corporations.

As a hard-working native Oklahoman, Carl began his one man company with customer oriented service as his standard and within one year he had accumulated 80 customers. As the company grew, he hired his very first employee in 2004 to help with the expanding customer base who appreciated the professional service and down home attitude that Carl's Sanitation offered.

Today, Carl's Sanitation has 20 employees and operating 6 service trucks a day, providing service to over 5,000 local customers in Seminole and Pottawatomie Counties. Besides being an innovative, owner/operator of a small business, Carl is a devoted Father, Husband and Grandfather to his loving extended family. Carl built his company on firm Christian beliefs with honest values and is passionate about sharing those attributes through his customer service.
