Our history
In 2013, Cáritas Diocesana de Huesca established Carinsertas, becoming the first insertion company in the capital of Alto Aragón. It is a non-profit company, committed to social justice and the search for equal opportunities.
We started our journey by making arrangements and promoting ethical sewing. In 2014, the textile collection, sorting and recycling activity began. This new work area would finish consolidating a year later with the placement of new clothing collection containers, installed in different areas of the city of Huesca and in some localities of the Hoya, Monegros and Jacetania regions. So until 2019, in which we hope to handle almost 400 tons of clothing.
The project does not stop growing with the aim of becoming a useful means to help people to enter the ordinary labor market. To this end, in 2016, Carinsertas expanded its services to include the cleaning sector among its work areas. And in 2019 we incorporate everything related to furniture, in order to give a new life to those that are no longer needed in any home, company or institution.
Our philosophy
At Carinsertas, workers become the protagonists of their insertion process. Our priority is to train people at risk of socio-labor exclusion and enhance their work experience to facilitate access to the normalized labor market.
U.S
Currently, we are a team of 29 people, of which 21 are workers with insertion contracts and 8 structural people. In addition, some 33 volunteers collaborate with us.
