About Company

CarbonLITE was founded by plastics stalwarts Leon Farahnik and Neville Browne. CarbonLITE’s 220,000-square-foot bottle-to-bottle PET recycling plant processes more than two billion plastic bottles annually. CarbonLITE is one of the largest producers of food-grade Post-consumer Recycled PET in the world. We specialize in processing used plastic bottles into bottle-grade PET resin flakes and pellets that can then be used to manufacture new plastic beverage bottles and other products. Through new state-of-the-art facilities, technologies, and equipment, CarbonLITE is fully invested and committed to make an impact in preserving resources and reducing the carbon footprint from PET bottle production. At CarbonLITE, we believe that recycling is the only responsible option. Destroying plastics and reliance on degradable plastics only increases the carbon footprint and wastes our precious resources.CarbonLITE was founded by plastics stalwarts Leon Farahnik and Neville Browne. CarbonLITE’s 220,000-square-foot bottle-to-bottle PET recycling plant processes more than two billion plastic bottles annually.Used plastic bottles are collected from municipal curbside systems and deposit centers and are compressed into half-ton bales for delivery to the CarbonLITE process facility in Riverside CA.Recycling is an essential tool in reducing carbon emissions and environmental waste. By turning used PET bottles into new PET bottles and products, recycling conserves virgin resources, reduces landfill, and capitalizes on the energy already invested in making existing plastic products.

CarbonLITE is a company founded on the philosophy of Bottle-to-Bottle recycling. In essence, our system converts used plastic bottles made of PET back into plastic resin, which is then used to make entirely new bottles. We run a genuine closed-loop system that allows for sustainable consumption because resources can be reused without degrading the environment. Products made using PET resin are recyclable and highly sustainable. PET can be recycled numerous times — back in to beverage bottles and other products such as food containers, carpet, and clothing. Accordingly, using recycled PET reduces greenhouse gases and preserves resources while providing a cost-effective, high quality solution to our customers’ packaging and product needs. Through the collection of post-consumer PET bottles from curbside programs and deposit collection centers, we’re committed to preserving natural resources, reducing greenhouse gases, and diminishing our landfill problems. At CarbonLITE we believe that recycling is the only responsible solution for the modern era. To that end, CarbonLITE is in process of developing an on-site Youth Education Program which will include facility tours for school groups. For more information, please contact us.
