We custom fabricate high quality stairs, railings, ladders, platforms, and any other light metal items with attention to detail while maintaining a close watch on each customer's specific delivery requirements.  Quality and reliability are key corporate goals.Capital Steel has over 70 years of experience in light metal fabrication.  The company was started by Paul Waldheim just off Main Street in Buffalo, New York, in the University District.  Over the years the building was added on to, and Paul was joined by his two sons, Sig and George, who continued on in the family tradition.  Sig became sole proprietor and eventually transferred ownership to Herb Asbach, a long-time employee.  Herb changed the name from Waldheim Iron Works to Capital Steel Works, and in 2006, moved to a larger and improved facility at 61 Archer Avenue, Buffalo, New York, its current location.  Now, with the input of new ownership, the operation continues to grow, continuing the legacy of quality metal fabrication.
