Capital City Recovery & Recycling had humble origins in Elk Grove, CA, just a short 15 minutes south of its current location in Sacramento. At that time we were just Capital City Recovery, owned by a father-son team. The business was finally passed from father to son, and Joshua took on the challenge of being a business owner with enthusiasm and vigor.
The summer of 2012 brought about a great deal of change and marked the beginning of our Recycling side. Our office was moved to Sacramento and at the end of September we open up our facility to the general public.
January of 2013 included some exciting changes as well. Our most exciting change was opening up our weekend facility in Pine Grove.
It has been a pleasure to serve both the Sacramento and Amador County communities and we are grateful for the opportunity we have to grow and learn from both. Our company has big plans for the future but no matter how far we go, we will always remember where we came from and the wonderful people that helped us get there.
