RECOVER – It is our responsibility to recover ALL water used in the home, blackwater, and greywater. The BC Standard of Practice design guides were formulated with a very specific sewage strength in mind. Without greywater to dilute the blackwater, the strength of wastewater will not fall within the prescribed design parameters of the SPM and as a result may contribute to an early system malfunction and the creation of a health hazard.

RESTORE – While tanks and treatment units are paramount to the restoration of the water we use, the soil we disperse our wastewater into is just as critical to the restoration process. The soils remove all the pathogens present in the wastewater prior to being reintroduced into the environment.

RETURN – The final pillar is the responsible return of the water we use to the environment from which we take it. It’s crucial we return the water back to the environment so that it can be reused by our children and their children’s children after them.
