About Company

Canadian Royalties Inc. (“CRI”) is a private mining company based in Montreal, which operates a copper and nickel mine in Nunavik (province of Quebec), under the name of the Nunavik Nickel Project (“Project”). CRI is wholly owned by our Chinese parent company Jilien Jien Nickel Industry Co., Ltd.

The production phase of the Project started in February 2013 and counts on a concentrator with a capacity of 4,500 tonnes / day, supplied by various deposits including, EXPO, ALLAMMAQ and MEQUILLON.

Our copper and nickel concentrates are transported and stored daily at our port facilities located in Deception Bay, located nearly 120 km from the main EXPO camp. An icebreaker bulk carrier named "Nunavik" comes about seven times a year to bring in equipment required for operations and to leave with its cargo of concentrate to be delivered to Europe.

CRI allows more than 1,000 people to work for its operations, including 600 direct employees and 400 subcontractors. On average, 400 people live and work in constant rotation on the Project site, whether at the EXPO camp or at the Deception Bay camp, all on a so-called “Fly-in / Fly-out” rotation mode. . We also have around thirty employees based at our head office in Montreal.

An important part of the Project is the Nunavik Nickel Agreement (the “Agreement”). This agreement on the repercussions and benefits of the Project was signed by CRI, the land companies of Salluit and Kangiqsujuaq, the municipality of Puvirnituq, as well as Makivik Corporation, a non-profit organization managed by the Inuit of Nunavik and has the mission of ensure the integrity of the Inuit's achievements as enshrined in the James Bay and Nord-du-Québec Agreement. The Agreement constitutes CRI's formal commitment to ensure a fair and equitable distribution of the economic benefits arising from the Project.

Mission

Our mission is to maximize the return on our existing assets by improving operational foundations by applying industry best practices to ensure positive cash flow despite fluctuating metal prices, while improving our mineral resources through vigorous exploration.

Vision

Our vision is to ensure the continued viability of Canadian Royalties for the mutual benefit of employees, shareholders and communities.
