Caldara Plast Srl is a company present on the market since 1963 and operating in two distinct but well integrated activities:

The Recovery Division of Erba (CO), specializes in the management and recovery of scraps of different types of plastic materials, including ABS, SAN, PST, PMMA, PC, PP, PE, PA. The headquarters are spread over a total area of ​​about 13,000 square meters of which 2,500 are covered;

The Compound Division of Alzate Brianza (CO) specializes in the production and trade of plastic compounds, with particular attention to technical polymers. The granule materials we produce are mainly ABS, PC / ABS, PC, PS, PA, PBT, PPS, PMMA, POM and BLEND & ALLOY, etc. It is a production site that is spread over a total area of ​​about 33,000 square meters, with a covered area of ​​about 10,000 square meters.

Our historical business has always been the recovery of industrial processing waste, mainly from processes such as molding, thermoforming, extrusion and blowing of different types of plastic materials. These materials are subsequently ground with mills in our headquarters in Erba which is authorized for the recovery, transport and storage of what the law considers waste. We directly organize the collection of waste with our fleet by providing companies with special tanks, demountable containers and presses for the collection of material destined for recovery. The ground material that we stock in our warehouses can be sold or sent to our headquarters in Alzate Brianza, which specializes in the production of plastic materials in granules.

In the Compound Division, the ground material is processed and, depending on the specific needs of the customer, it can be re-granulated without additions, or it is additive and / or pigmented and extruded with special single or twin-screw dies. We have 10 extrusion lines as well as mixers necessary to optimize production batches. We work in a continuous cycle and we are able to extrude at full capacity over 70 tons of material per day for about 15,000 tons per year. In our laboratory, specialized technicians constantly and directly check the quality of our product both in input and output to guarantee high and constant quality standards over time. We create a tailor made product by analyzing the needs and requests received from time to time, in compliance with current regulations.
