OUR COMPANY
Calabra Maceri e Servizi SpA is one of the leading companies in the integrated waste management sector in southern Italy. Every year it receives, recycles and sends for recovery, in collaboration with Italian and foreign paper mills and other processing industries of the second raw material, Italian and foreign (steel mills, glassworks, etc.), several tons of waste of domestic, commercial, industrial origin. and artisanal.
OUR HISTORY
The company was founded in 1990 as a small business from the idea of ​​three brothers, with the aim of intercepting recycled materials from the total volume of waste produced in the urban area of ​​Cosenza, removing them from landfills to enhance them as a secondary raw material. Since then, the company has significantly increased its business volume to around 25 million euros, with a fleet of over 100 vehicles with various characteristics and sizes. The company currently employs, between direct and indirect, about 400 units; it performs services to public and private entities with an average of about 30,000 collections per month and processes about 750 tons of waste per day, of which at least 80% of materials destined for recovery as raw material. Calabra Maceri e Servizi SpA through its organizational network is able to operate throughout Italy, placing itself at the service of all those public (Municipalities, Consortia, etc.) and private entities (production and service companies, shopping centers, etc.) ) who need to recover / dispose of their waste.
