Buxtehude Environment And Recycling Gmbh is a certified waste management company with a focus on storage, treatment and recycling. In our Eilendorf mine we operate sand extraction, soil acceptance, construction waste acceptance and building material recycling as well as an interim storage facility for mixed construction waste. We also sell various building materials to commercial and private customers.

Sand extraction and soil acceptance

When sand is extracted, different grades of sand are extracted and processed by sieving. In addition, uncontaminated soils in the region are accepted and stored.

We have been mining sand in our sand pit in Eilendorf since 1953. This sand is used, among other things, for filling, as a substructure, as slab and bedding sand. Earth walls are also built with this sand.

Natural soils are used as the basic material, and foreign matter and stones are removed by sieving. The addition of different materials creates qualities that can be used for different purposes, e.g. B. as frost protection sand, sand for riding arenas or sifted sand.

Since 1962, after the great storm surge, our materials have been used to repair dikes and build new ones.

Building material recycling

Our building rubble acceptance accepts concrete, bricks, bricks and clinker, asphalt from building and road demolitions as well as demolition material from renovation and renovation measures. Our BImSCH-approved building material recycling plant processes the delivered materials into mineral mixtures in various grain sizes and qualities, which are used for road substructures, courtyard entrances, farm roads or construction roads and the like. We produce mineral mixtures for public roads and paths according to the approval according to RG-Min. StB. The quality of the mineral mixtures is certified by an independent laboratory with a seal of approval.
