BURNEY'S HISTORY

Our original founder, Edison E. Burney was a native and lifelong resident of Saint Augustine, Florida. Edison served in the US Coast Guard during World War II. After the war, Edison learned brick masonry work, which eventually evolved into septic tanks in 1944. His wife, Myrtle ran the office out of their house, which is still our current office to this day!

We are proud to be a family owned and operated company for almost 80 years!

DECADES OF FAMILY HISTORY

We have an open door policy and run our office the same way. Our customer are family walking through the door. We are always happy to offer a cold drink or sweet treat. Many old time customers will come by just to visit and sit on the porch and rock in the rocking chairs. The house that Edison and Myrtle raised their three boys in and started the business out of is still our current office almost 80 years later!
