(BPG) is a strategically aligned subsidiary of Bryan Construction, Inc. (BCI). Formalized in 2012, BPG adds a highly complementary power generation design and engineering services capability to BCI’s core construction activities to provide complete engineering procurement construction (EPC) services for the power generation industry, along with being postured as its own stand-alone organization of excellence in the power generation industry. BPG principals have been deeply engaged in the secondary power generation equipment marketplace, where we recognized a growing and unmet consumer need…the desire for the cost savings of pre-owned equipment, with a consolidated level of services typically reserved for original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and a greater flexibility in the business terms and conditions associated with the sale. The traditional business model for most generator and gas turbine re-sellers entails a “cash and carry, where-is-as-is and little to no services offered” construct that simply doesn’t work for many larger projects. Concurrently, BCI principals recognized a distinct business line within their construction projects, namely power generation, where clients were eager for value added alternative solutions to costly OEM offerings. BPG was the answer to both of these unmet needs, providing a full-service, all-encompassing equipment solutions capability that delivers “Best Value” alternatives for our clients.
